I'm a resident of the southeastern area of Pennsylvania. I'm working as a technical editor by day, and I also have experience in print production and web site administration.
I attended culinary school from late 2004 to early 2007. I graduated, and worked as a professional baker, but found that mixing hobbies and work doesn't, well, work. I went back to a desk job, and left my hobby as a hobby.
I love to cook and love to bake, not only for humans, but for dogs as well. I have a yellow Labrador Retriever, an Australian Shepherd mix, and a pit bull mix. I also volunteer for the local animal control shelter.
I'm not sure where my love of cooking and baking comes from. Certainly not from my parents. They only discovered that there are other seasonings beyond salt and pepper. I love to eat. For the most part, I like to try new things.
My boyfriend and I don't share many interests — we don't watch the same movies or TV shows, or listen to the same music. But we do both love to eat. We love to go out and try new restaurants, and we also love to cook together. We are both meat-eaters, though we both know many vegetarians and vegans, and I like to try to make dishes that they can eat.
I've traveled to Canada, Mexico, the Bahamas, Jamaica, Scotland, England and France. One day, I hope to visit Ireland, Greece, Italy and Germany.
